Terms of Service

The following are the terms governing your use of the Mingdeng Atelier Co., Ltd. website (mingdeng.design) and your ordering of the Company's goods and services; by using this website or completing an order, you acknowledge that you have read and agree to these terms.

These terms last updated: June 2026

1. Services

The Company provides the bespoke design, production, and delivery of temple-grade devotional artifacts, including bespoke deity statues, altar vessels, and related devotional objects. Most items are numbered, limited-edition pieces made to order.

2. Ordering and Commissioning Process

You may order online through this website, or discuss the content, specifications, and quotation of a commission with a representative through a commission inquiry. The content, price, and lead time of bespoke items are governed by what both parties confirm or by the agreement between them.

3. Pricing and Payment

Prices shown on this website are in New Taiwan Dollars. Online payments are processed by Shopify and its payment service providers. Fees for bespoke items are quoted separately according to actual requirements.

4. Shipping, Delivery, and After-Sales

Shipping methods, commission lead times, returns, and refunds are set out on the "Shipping & Returns" page of this website; the content of that page forms part of these terms.

5. Intellectual Property

The content, design, imagery, 3D models, text, and brand marks of this website are the property of the Company or its licensors. They may not be reproduced, distributed, adapted, or used commercially without the Company's written consent. Numbered, limited-edition works are not reproduced.

6. Statement on Religion and Belief

The objects the Company provides are made as works of craft; religious rites such as eye-dotting consecration are performed by partner temples or their keepers, and their religious meaning and efficacy are determined by the tradition and belief of each temple.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Company shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of this website or its goods. These terms do not exclude any consumer rights that may not be excluded by law.

8. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These terms shall be construed and applied under the laws of the Republic of China. For any dispute arising from these terms, both parties agree that the Taiwan Hsinchu District Court shall be the court of first instance.

9. Amendments to Terms

The Company may amend these terms at any time. Amendments will be published on this website and take effect upon publication.
